If your child has complex medical needs, they may qualify for comprehensive medical daycare at Elite PPEC at no cost to your family. Let us help you find out.
Children with a wide range of medically complex conditions may qualify for PPEC services. A child does not need to have every condition listed below; a single qualifying diagnosis combined with a physician's prescription is typically sufficient to begin the enrollment process. The following conditions are among the most common diagnoses we serve at Elite PPEC:
This list is not exhaustive. If your child has a medical condition that requires ongoing nursing care, monitoring, or therapeutic intervention, they may qualify even if their diagnosis is not listed above. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your child's specific situation.
Elite PPEC serves children from birth through age 20. Whether your child is an infant, toddler, school-age, or teenager, our programs are designed to meet children at their developmental level and support them as they grow. Our staff is trained to care for children of all ages, and our facility includes age-appropriate spaces, equipment, and activities.
There is no minimum age requirement. Infants who are medically fragile can begin receiving PPEC services as soon as they are discharged from the hospital, provided they have a physician's prescription and active Medicaid coverage.
PPEC services are a covered benefit under Florida Medicaid. To attend Elite PPEC, your child must have active Florida Medicaid coverage. All services, including nursing care, therapies, meals, and transportation, are fully covered with no out-of-pocket costs to families.
If your child does not currently have Medicaid, you can apply through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) at myflfamilies.com. Children with complex medical needs often qualify regardless of household income. Our enrollment team can help guide you through the Medicaid application process.

Your child's pediatrician or specialist will need to write a prescription for PPEC services. This prescription confirms that your child has medical needs that can be appropriately addressed in a PPEC setting. We can help coordinate with your child's doctor if needed.
We will need your child's recent medical records, including diagnosis documentation, immunization records, current medication list, and any relevant specialist reports. Our team will help you identify exactly which documents are required.
Our staff will verify your child's Florida Medicaid coverage to ensure all services will be fully covered. If your child does not yet have Medicaid, we can help guide you through the application process.
We invite every family to visit Elite PPEC before enrollment. During your tour, you will meet our nursing and therapy staff, see our therapy rooms and play areas, and get a firsthand look at the care environment. This visit helps both you and your child feel comfortable.
Once enrollment is complete, your child begins receiving care at Elite PPEC. We create an individualized care plan, establish therapy goals, and your child becomes part of our family. Free transportation is arranged to and from your home.
